OUR STORY

THE BEGINNING OF BOMBINA

My journey began in the scientific realm at Imperial College, London, where I earned a PhD in neuro biochemistry. For 15 years, I delved into academic pursuits, exploring the intricacies of how the brain regulates appetite and body weight.

A pivotal moment occurred in 2014 when I faced a rare and aggressive form of cancer.

During this challenging period of illness, I discovered the therapeutic and mindful qualities of working with glass. It became my sanctuary, allowing me to escape the pressures of the world and dive into a realm of creativity. Now, my goal is to share this passion by creating unique pieces of art that hold personal significance for individuals, adding a touch of class and originality to their homes.

“After successfully completing treatment in 2015,I decided to redirect my career towards my passion for glass art and started Bombina Glass.”

“… Teaching and inspiring others through workshops is another joy for me. It's not just about creating beautiful glass; it's about offering a space for people to unwind, relax, and carve out a moment for themselves.”
