Fibonacci in Stained Glass - Series of four original stained-glass pictures for sale.

I have created pieces of stained glass and use the Fibonacci sequence of numbers as my inspiration.  Many naturally occurring plants, flowers and animals use the Fibonacci sequence to find the most energy efficient way to exist and divide.  Fibonacci sequences appear in biological settings, such as branching in trees, arrangement of leaves on a stem, the fruitlets of a pineapple, the flowering of artichoke, an uncurling fern and the arrangement of a pinecone, and the family tree of honeybees.  I find this sequence inspirational and use it in my art.

How do I create the Fibonacci designs?

I take a plant, animal or crystalline structure that uses the Fibonacci sequence to order itself.  I then etch this structure into a piece of flash glass and then paint and fire it in my kiln at the studio.  Once completed, I then design panels you see for sale using these pieces etched and painted glass.  The construction of the final piece uses traditional stained-glass techniques.

Buy from one of the four unique Fibonacci designs - Red Spiral, Yellow Spiral, Purple Spiral, and Succulent Fibonacci & add a unique piece of glass artwork to your office, home, or any other space. For more information about how I create these designs, give me a call or visit us in Surrey.
